Job Overview:

Oliver Wyman is seeking a creative, results-oriented Event Planner to manage and organize Oliver Wymans client B2B marketing initiatives, client facing events and support internal events. This role is sharing responsibility delivering high-quality OW branded events and providing administrative support to the APR Events Team.

The Event Planner will work with all team members in the Marketing Team, Events Team and lead all aspects of event design production, budgets, and delivery in Asia Pacific Region. This role will also work closely with the Global Events Team to ensure programs adhere to global event policies and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management - Lead event project initiatives in region partnering with business, marketing and supporting functions to develop impactful programs in alignment with business strategy.
Effective planning and end-to-end execution of client events including:
Clients facing events for marketing campaigns launch.
Senior clients facing events for networking and social.
Oliver Wyman Forum events.
Support the Events Director on regional event tasks and execution of flagship events.
Research Keep up to date with new venues, hotels, food & beverage concepts, industry practices in the region.
Event Production and Delivery - Develop creative event concepts and coordinates logistics including venue sourcing, virtual production, accommodation and travel, invitation and registration, event communication, F&B and event, in collaboration with wider internal teams such as IT, Design and Marketing.
Post Event Analysis and Closing post event analysis, feedback collection, monitor ROI data, track and record event budgets and cost savings.
Ensure all events and programs are compliant with firm wide standards and policies.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across businesses Leadership Team and other partner functions such as Marketing, Events, DTP.
Occasional business travel to support onsite when needed.


Experience Required:

3-5 years experience of corporate events management in a global/regional environment.
Strong industry network of peers, venue partners, vendors and suppliers across Asia Pacific Region.
Strong contract and vendor negotiations.
Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills. Being fluent in more than one language is an added advantage.
Experience with CRM and event management tools e.g. Cvent, Microsoft Dynamics etc.
Experience with virtual and interactive tools e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slido, etc.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
