Job Overview
The Events Planner manages and supports events across the region. This role joins a global team, reporting into the Events Manager and is responsible for the coordination, production and delivery of firm events that align with business strategy. This role requires interaction with stakeholders to create impactful, high-profile client events.
***This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in our NYC office. There is no option to be fully remote.***
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage Client and internal events both virtual and in-person
Lead on venue and event vendor sourcing from brief through to contract negotiations.
Coordinate event logistics including agenda, travel, invitation and registration, F&B and relevant event materials in collaboration with wider teams such as IT, Design and committees
Manage event budgets
Build and manage vendor relationships across multiple areas including procuring new services and negotiating contracts
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver community building initiatives focused on Client engagement plans
Research and implement online solutions for virtual hosted programs
Support the team on office initiatives and region wide events on various assigned tasks
Collaborate with other departments to design and execute programs (existing and new) to a high standard
Manage department led projects shaping guidelines and best practice sharing
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3+ years of corporate event planning experience required
Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with meeting management software and virtual tools such as Cvent, Zoom
Travel as projects require

The applicable base salary range for this role is $74,000 to $102,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
