Oliver Wyman is a leading global management consultancy dedicated to creating transformational moments for our clients. We are looking for a top-flight copyeditor to help bring our content to the next level. Your role will be to ensure that reports, articles, blog posts, and other pieces of thought leadership slavishly adhere to our house style and sparkle with sophistication, allowing our breakthrough ideas to shine. You will clarify and de-clunk copy, whet appetites with clever heads and decks, and dazzle with smooth and seamless transitions. In short, you will burnish the Oliver Wyman brand by giving our original insights the care, attention, and professional polish they deserve.


**This is a hybrid role based in our NYC office. There is no option to be fully remote.**



Key Responsibilities:


Copyedit, review, write, and approve content to ensure it meets the highest standards of editorial quality

Work closely with our digital editors and marketers to help maximize SEO opportunities and establish standards for others across the enterprise

Serve as a resource for in-house writers and editors on style and other matters

Work closely with designers to ensure our final products are sleek and stylish


Experience Required:


Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years copyediting experience in a fast-paced environment ideally in journalism and ideally a blend of print and online

Superb writing, editing, and packaging skills

Experience working with a content management system

Comfort with SEO principles

Excellent editorial judgment, with an eagle-eye for details and a proven ability to maintain brand voice and factual accuracy

The applicable base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $147,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
