Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced OnBase Administrator with a strong background in healthcare to join our team. As an OnBase Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the OnBase enterprise content management system within a healthcare environment. Your expertise in OnBase administration, coupled with your understanding of healthcare operations, will play a vital role in optimizing document management and workflow processes, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing overall system performance.


Responsibilities:
OnBase System Administration:
Configure and maintain the OnBase system according to established best practices and organizational requirements.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations to ensure the system is up to date and running smoothly.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system workflows, permissions, and security settings.
Develop and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Document Management and Workflow:
Design, build, and maintain document management workflows using OnBase tools and features.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Create and manage document types, templates, and metadata to ensure accurate indexing and retrieval of documents.
Monitor workflow queues, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support for workflow-related inquiries.
Develop and deliver user training programs to promote effective utilization of the OnBase system.
Data Integrity and Compliance:
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data stored within the OnBase system.
Implement data governance policies, including data retention and disposal, in accordance with industry regulations and organizational requirements.
Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to perform regular audits and address data security and privacy concerns.
Monitor system logs and generate reports to identify and rectify data discrepancies or anomalies.
Stay up to date with healthcare industry trends, regulations, and standards related to document management and electronic health records.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and clinical staff, to gather requirements and translate them into OnBase system configurations.
Communicate system updates, enhancements, and changes to end users, ensuring their understanding and adoption.
Serve as a subject matter expert for OnBase-related queries and provide timely and effective support.
Foster positive relationships with vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation and integration.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an OnBase Administrator in a healthcare environment.
In-depth knowledge of the OnBase system, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, document management, and workflow processes.
Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and workflow design tools within the OnBase system.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.
