OPERATING ROOM NURSE - Coliseum Medical Center - Macon, GA

 Full-time days / Rotate Weekends (12-hour shifts)

 

Summary

As an Operating Room RN, you will work with the dynamic team in surgical services. Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice, and nursing care. 

 

Qualifications:

• Social skills to positively engage with your patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.


• Your degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. or A.S.)


• Current State of Georgia RN License required, or recognized compact licensure (subject to Georgia State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)


• Minimum of one year experience in the acute care setting


• Current BLS certification

• 18 OR Suites


• 1:1 Ratio


• Smaller facility but very busy


• Types of services: open heart, cranium, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, GYN


• Shift: 7a to 7p, some call (maybe 1x/week every 4-6 weeks


• Culture:  slower pace, cohesive team, 1.5 hours from Atlanta

Up to $10k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates with a 2-year commitment.
