Ophthalmic Technician Will Train

We are looking to fill a full-time, 40 hours per week Ophthalmic Technician in our Bellevue Clinic. In this role, you will work side by side with our Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon to provide our patients with life-changing aesthetic and vision correction outcomes. Limited experience? No problem! We provide on-the-job training and will teach you how to take an active part in the patient care process. As you work cooperatively with our surgeon and staff, you will become part of an integrated team of professionals that together will improve the quality of peoples lives. Take advantage of our license/certification reimbursements and watch your career grow! Responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate documentation and summarization of the ocular examination and recommendations.
- Maintaining patient flow and communicating regarding appointment status.
- Assisting Ophthalmologists by performing ophthalmic clinical functions, such as patient workups and special testing and possibly scribing
- May administer eye medications and instruct the patient in the care and treatment of eye conditions, apply dressings to the eye, as well as assist with in-office lasers and procedures.
Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Willing to help in all areas, have the flexibility and effectively work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for exemplary customer service.
- Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and patient confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail.
