Job Description: Our exclusive client is seeking the first Mandarin/Cantonese speaking Ophthalmologist to add to our practice!
The ideal candidate is a Physician with post fellowship experience, but they are also open to Physicians who have recently finished their fellowship. We are looking for Ophthalmologists to see internally referred patients at our Brooklyn location. They have a busy practice with 15 PCPs in total and expect the urology practice to build quickly. This is a great opportunity for a Physician with a strong sense of best practices and with leadership capability!
Full administrative support for billing, credentialing, and scheduling will be provided by our company. We are looking for a specialty who will set the tone for the practice.
Job Duties:
- Work 3 to 5 days per week 9:30 AM 5:30 PM See 20-35 patients per day
- Create a rapport with patients and provide an exemplary healthcare experience, help patient, especially those with diabetes, osteoporosis, cholesterol and metabolic disorders, meet their health goals as related to ophthalmology visits
- Communicate with Podiatrist regarding best practices for care of patients with diabetes
- Collaborate with practice owner, and general manager to make the best decisions for the practice
Qualifications: Licensed in New York State Board Certified or Eligible 1+ year of experience preferred but not required
