Nashville, TN: Academic position for Glaucoma specialist to join the faculty, which currently includes six fellowship-trained glaucoma specialists, and an active glaucoma fellowship program and ophthalmology residency. Ideally, candidates who are interested in MIGS and complex surgeries including tubes and trabs. The current glaucoma specialists are booked out 3-4 months for new patients. This is a high volume service with a significant amount of surgery including cataracts, if desired. Multi-specialty academic ophthalmology practice with 72 clinical and research faculty members, state of the art facilities and equipment and multiple satellite offices to serve an annual patient volume in excess of 168,000. This position carries a full-time clinician-educator, clinician-investigator, or clinical practice track faculty appointment with a part-time appointment at the adjacent Nashville VA Medical Center.
