Ophthalmology Tech, Pearl River, NY
OCT, Applanation Tonometry, HRT, OCT, Tonometry, HRT, OCT, Pachymetry, A-Scan, B-scan, IOL master, Endo cell count, fundus photos, topography wavefront scan, knowledge of Lasik is helpful. Manual refraction a plus and auto refraction.
Assist with minor surgery, scribing is a plus, bilingual would be helpful but not a must. Two General Ophthalmologist one Optometrist and one orthoptist, they also do cataract surgery with premium IOLs, blepharoplasty as well as routine eye exams they have six techs for work full-time +11 additional staff for checking out etc. Doctor works with EMR and techs send medication through EMR everything else is paper the system is modernizing medicine.
Techs rotate between two offices. Pearl River New York is Monday 9 to 6, Tuesday 8:45 to 6, Wednesday is 9 AM to 5 PM, Thursday is 9 AM to 6 PM, and Fridays is 8:45 AM to 4 PM.
At the Stony Point, New York office: Monday every other is 845 6:00 PM, Tuesdays is 9 AM to 5:30 PM Wednesday every other is 8:45 AM to 6 PM, Thursdays is 8:45 AM to 6 PM and Friday is 8:45 AM to 4 PM. PTO time is sick and vacation, available after one year with one week PTO up to a max of four weeks. Health benefits after 90 days doctor will pay portion of premium the cost is approximately $800 a month 401(k) after one year for full-time people
