We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Specialist to join this eye-mazing team for a traveling position covering the states of Alabama and Georgia, with the home office in Phenix City, AL. This company prides itself on fostering a culture of positivity, growth, and collaboration. You will have the exciting opportunity to promote and sell manufacturing lab services to business owners in the eye care industry.
You will conduct sales calls with optometry offices, ophthalmology offices, and businesses requiring safety eyewear, identify and develop relationships with new business partners, and manage existing relationships to ensure growth and success. You will also develop promotional and marketing plans to grow the business while traveling to different locations throughout Alabama and Georgia.
This opportunity requires eligible candidates to be based in Alabama or Georgia. You must be willing and able to travel with possible overnight stays. Experience in eye care as an optician or lab technician or in medical device/eyewear/lens sales is a must.

Requirements
- 2+ years of optical sales and/or lab experience, or as a traveling optical lens rep is required
- 1+ years of experience in business development or related field would be desirable
- Proven track record of successful sales and business development
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze customer data and identify trends and opportunities
- Valid, clean driver's license
- The ability to travel interstate with overnight stays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
