Hours:

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 6am to 2:30pm Overtime as needed


• Potential for weekend work

• Polishing Job Requirements:


• Manufacturing tasks in compliance with work instructions


• Fabrication of optical components


• Ability to read drawings


• Inspecting / Testing optics and optical systems


• Performing calculations, quality tests, inspection on optical components


• Interact effectively in a team environment


• Possess exceptional fine motor skills


• Strong work ethic


• Possess basic math skills


• Technical curiosity and competence


• Have good computer skills


• Hand/eye coordination / manual dexterity / attention to detail


• Ability to multitask and focus on multiple objectives at a time


• PC skills and ability to operate electronic equipment

• Temperature controlled environments. May require working in a clean room.


• Able to lift up to 15 pounds


• Willingness to work overtime


• PPE -  Must provide safety shoes at own expense. Standard safety glasses will be provided.

• Location: USA - NY - Fairport


• Duration of contract: 4 Months to 1 Year


• Education/ Experience: An AS degree or equivalent experience in optics or another technical field is preferred
