Since its opening in 1980, the practice has remained committed to providing cutting-edge technology to ensure the best vision and ocular health. This is an excellent chance to hone your clinical and interpersonal skills and expand upon them. Youll diagnose, treat, counsel patients, and keep detailed patient records. The practice provides all the equipment youll need, such as Optical Coherence Tomography, Visual Fields, Fundus Camera, Autorefractor, and Meibographer.
Minimum qualifications include a valid Doctor of Optometry degree and a state license to practice optometry (or in the process of obtaining a license). Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
- 4th year students are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient records
