Position Summary The Oracle application technical lead is responsible for development of RICE (reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements) components. Provide process, data, and object modeling in a variety of Oracle application and database environments. Provide design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing and new RICE components. Provide technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below. Experience in Oracle R12 with excellent technical skill in development of RICE components. Mandatory Developer (Reports and Forms), Workflow, SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher & Form Personalization. Proficient in Oracle Application Technical framework (Table structure knowledge) in Finance, SCM, GST and Manufacturing. Experience in developing interfaces between Oracle R12 modules and external applications. Experience in Oracle Alert & OAF development. Responsible for supporting business in Oracle R12 and maintaining a high level of user satisfaction by providing effective services. Work with Global and Regional for all Oracle technical requirements. Work closely with Oracle functional team to find out the technical need and to develop solution. Responsible for ensuring that corporate IT standards and procedures are being implemented and maintained. Conduct and/or facilitate technical training to user end and within team. Incumbent additionally will. Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others Ability to solve problems creatively and decisively Ability to manage workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Define tasks and requirements to the appropriate level of detail to enable accurate and timely implementation Able to work flexible hours and travel as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent operates as an Individual contributor & reports to AGM IT - ERP Applications and supports business in all day-to-day operations to achieve the business objectives of the company. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology (computer science or related field / MCA) Minimum 7-10 years of Oracle R11/R12 working experience in a manufacturing and MNC environment. At least 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle R12 design, development of RICE (reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements) components, Workflow, SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher & Form Personalization Primarily in the area of Oracle supply chain (Purchasing, Inventory & Order management), manufacturing ( Bill of material, Work in process and Quality), India localization and secondary Oracle Financial module. Required Skills Good verbal and written communication skills and systematic problem-solving skills. Extremely self-motivated and self-learner. Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment. Ability to plan and deliver cost effective results. Excellent English verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills. Ability to work within Global IT and business teams. Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff. Excellent business ethics and integrity. Strong team player and leader, proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships
