Job Title: Oracle Cloud Architect and Database Engineer - Onsite

Location: Brooklyn - Onsite

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Proven experience assessing clients Oracle workloads and technology landscape for OCI suitability, Including OCI Network and Security design for complex architectures to support high availability and disaster recovery requirements.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Strong TCP/IP skills including DNS & DHCP

Proficient in Linux/Unix

Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.

Understand and document technical requirements from clients.

Define Migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaS.

Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools.

Design & implement the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.

Design & Implement the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.

Design the HA / DR strategies. Knowledge with Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) is a plus.

Experience in compute & storage services of OCI

Set up process, services and tools around cloud.

Perform Build of the environment.

Execute migration plan.

Leverage appropriate Oracle Cloud services.

Experience or Knowledge in Oracle Database Technologies like Oracle Exadata, RAC , OEM , Data Guard etc.

Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls.

Experience in Key/SecretManagement, Identity and Access Management, Security Zones, Threat Intelligence & Vulnerability Scanning& Remediation

Knowledge of containers CAAS Functions, Kubernetes Engine, Registry Service , Mesh

Support go-to-market activities as a Cloud Architect

Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.) and mentor team to build necessary capability.

In depth knowledge of Oracle SaaS and PaaS

Integration knowledge with ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, apimon, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.

Experience with automation & configuration tools like Terraform(required), Ansible (required) and GitHub Actions (helpful)

CI/CD using tools like Jenkins orGitHub Actions & Workflows

Experience with Cloud DevOps such as Cloud Runner, Kubernetes Platforms, App Container Platforms use
