Ability to read and understand insurance explanation of benefits and electronic remittances, ability to balance patient accounts, identify late charges or potential missing charge. Knowledge if CPT codes and modifier uses. Knowledge of CMS LCD and NCD guidelines. Must be able to multi-task. Needs to be goal driven. Good customer service and telephone skills required.
