Job Description:
This position will work across state government, and with local governments in Delaware, to manage the Business One Stop platform (onestop.delaware.gov) which is the online platform that new and existing businesses use to get their primary transactions with the state completed. Business One Stop is one of few multi agency software systems in the state and one that is highly rated by end users.
This position will help bring about new product offerings from other state agencies into One Stop. This position will also research, craft and organize content for Business One Stop. This position will work with multiple agencies, and will have a strong collaboration with the entire GIC team. This position reports to the GIC Director. A Bachelors Degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in product ownership is desired. Successful candidate will be able to manage priority setting based on data, evidence, and user research. Job Requirements:
Keep users need at the forefront: solve problems for users Set the product roadmap for expansion of the Delaware Business One Stop Communicate the vision for Delaware Business One Stop internally and externally Work with agencies throughout state government to educate them on Business One Stop and work to get more agency transactions included Manage and direct the work of the vendor partner who is designing and developing the platform Advocate for Business One Stop, build momentum for the product Conduct user research with end users (especially small and medium sized businesses) and with agency staff Connect with those using the product (end users and agency users) often Inform and engage other stakeholders Use analytical data to drive decisions Evaluating feedback on a continual basis Research topics related to creating, operating, expanding, and closing a business within Delaware and the various government agencies processes Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
