SUMMARY:



This is a hands-on position that is responsible for the design, development and implementation of fabrication processes for new 3D printed electronic products that meet customer requirements – including product performance, quality standards, cost and delivery.



 



SCOPE:



Research & Development, Process & Product Qualification and Design for manufacturing of custom and novel conductive adhesives across various electronics applications.



 



EDUCATION:



B.S / MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials and/or Polymers Engineering, or related engineering discipline with emphasis on R&D, Design for Manufacturing and/or Custom Engineering.



 



Skills: Process Engineering, Research & Development, Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Conductive Adhesives



 



Must Have’s:



US citizen - due to heavy government/DOD work



Hands-on, strong problem solving skills



Mechanically inclined Electrical Engineer (BS with 10+years direct experience or MS with 4+years direct experience) or Materials / Chemistry background with work experience in Electronics



Printed Electronics / Packaging Electronics - knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT)



Experience in working with conductive adhesives - conductive films, conductive inks, epoxies



Direct work experience includes:



R&D manufacturing



Production / Operations background



Conductive material formulation development



Experience in setting up quality systems and / or procurement/supply chain



Equipment maintenance
