Town Halla high-growth agency providing digital marketing services to nonprofit and higher education clientsseeks a Paid Media Supervisor to lead media strategy and planning for our higher education and nonprofit/cause accounts. This role will report to the Media Group Director and is responsible for maintaining high quality media strategy and campaign execution; understanding the clients industry and business objectives; mentoring and coaching media associates; and acting as a partner to creative and account teams to drive excellent work and revenue.

The Town Hall office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are working in-office three days per week. Remote candidates are not currently being considered for this position.


What Youll Do

The Paid Media Supervisor will be a champion for excellent media practices, develop effective strategy and tactical recommendations, and provide coaching and oversight of more junior media team members. The Media Supervisor will generously share their marketing and media knowledge with all teams and seek to leverage emerging opportunities and add value for our clients by bringing innovation to our work.

In collaboration with the Media Group Director, the Paid Media Supervisor will manage internal and external media team partners, delegating tasks and reviewing deliverables before representing the teams work with the wider internal team and at one-off and recurring client meetings. Working closely with account managers and the creative team, the Media Supervisor will ensure a cohesive campaign approach and messaging to drive clients business results. Day to day collaborators for this role include the Media Group Director, Senior Media Planner, Media Coordinator, Account Managers, and Associate Creative Directors.


Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Attend and contribute during internal and client-facing meetings, speaking to media campaign performance and strategy
  • Represent the agencys POV internally, with clients, and at agency-sponsored events on vertical-specific trends and the digital media landscape at large
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to identify growth opportunities within existing client portfolio
  • Develop media strategy and approach to reach client goals and objectives
  • Create cross-platform tactical media plans, detailing audiences, learnings agenda, and ongoing testing plans
  • Facilitate communications with external vendors and partners
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to develop media creative strategies and ensure best practices are met
  • Ensure campaign set up, targeting, budgets, and tracking are implemented correctly ahead of campaign launch
  • Collaborate with Analyst to develop measurement strategies and insights from campaign data
  • Provide insights for client-facing reports; deliver presentations to clients as needed
  • Manage, maintain, and clearly communicate budget status and considerations to Account and Media Buyers
  • Oversee deliverables developed by and growth of Media Planner and Media Coordinator in collaboration with Media Group Directo

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in a digital marketing/advertising role, media planning preferred

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience with managing campaign budgets, accruals and actualizations
  • Experience with/working knowledge of the following platforms:
    • Programmatic/Display, such as Google Campaign Manager and Display & Video 360 experience; The Trade Desk
    • Paid social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Snapchat, Pinterest, Tik Tok
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics
    • Ability to run custom reporting, analyze performance trends, and speak to reporting insights

Additional Skills Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and/or Google Workspace apps
  • Knowledge of media buying and the interplay of various platforms within the media funnel
  • Ability to successfully and confidently deliver client-facing presentations
  • Proficiency with 3rdparty syndicated research resources (ComScore, Nielsen, Vividata)
  • Experience coaching and training junior associates; experience as a direct manager a plus
  • Experience working on higher education or cause/non-profit clients is a plus
