Position: Painter and Decorator
Location: 57 Walton Road, London, E12 5RF
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: 26,000.00 - 28,000.00 dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
Painter & Decorator
The ability to do painting and decorating
Work out how much paint or wallcovering is needed
Prepare the room and surfaces for painting with the use of dustsheets and tape
Apply primers and undercoats
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and special coatings to the walls, ceilings, and other surfaces where applicable
Ability to use brushes, rollers or spraying equipment
Carry out regular stock taking of paints and materials required for the job
To assist you Maintenance Manager with other duties outside your usual schedule if required.
Maintain painted interior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures.
Cleaning the work area after completion
Stick to deadlines and budgets

About you:
You are flexible
Have excellent communication skills
Can work on your own initiative as well as motivating others
At least 3 years of experience in painting/decorating within the similar field
Computer literate
Have great attention to detail
Multi-trade skills an advantage.
Good customer service skills
