We are seeking our next Full-Time Panhandle PBS Assistant Content Producer/Videographer who will be all-in on our mission and who will assist with the content creation, videography/production, and editing for Panhandle PBS. EDUCATION - Required: Training or professional experience in content creation, video production, and/or editing. (A combination of experience and college credit will be accepted).
- Preferred: Associates Degree in Media Production, Videography, Cinematography, Film & Media Studies, Communications, Journalism or related field.
EXPERIENCE Preferred: - Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
- Experience in all aspects of content creation and production, from ideation through the final product.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES - Valid Texas Drivers License with a 3-year safe driving record.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with the production and content creation, including projects for television broadcast as well as dissemination online and various social media platforms.
- Create, develop and research content ideas to meet stations mission and goals.
- Work with a team of video producers, writers, editors, designers, and motion graphic artists to build and produce compelling content.
- Operate camera, ingest video footage, set up video timelines and edit footage.
- Assist with scheduling logistics for video shoots and produce promotional spots.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials.
- Assist with Panhandle PBS events.
- Stay up-to-date on digital trends to ensure relevancy and audience growth for Panhandle PBS online and social presence.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Must be a good writer and storyteller.
- Must be able to understand content production and workflows and social media best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Texas Panhandle and PBS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: Amarillo College - Salary Schedules((link removed), Pay grade 8 (salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons). Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or maneuver office supplies and other heavy equipment as needed. Working Conditions: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays, and varying events if necessary.) Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets) and is in a high traffic area with continual interruptions. Software commonly used includes Microsoft Office, Colleague, Adobe and other various business, design and educational applications. Work may also be performed outside of the office and with little to no supervision.
