Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Business/Domain Consultant with a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in the forest products, lumber, paper, packaging or adjacent industry. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a strong track record of success in consulting and the ability to leverage IT digital solutions to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities:
Lead complex client engagements to identify, analyse, and solve business problems utilizing IT digital solutions.
Steer client conversations related to smart manufacturing & other industry focus areas and help clients understand the benefits and potential pitfalls of implementing these technologies in their operations.
Utilize extensive domain knowledge to understand and analyse client business requirements, and design and develop business processes and workflows that optimize business operations and drive business value.
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to clients to provide thought leadership and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Develop and deliver client-facing presentations and facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure client adoption and success.
Participate in the development of intellectual property, including methodologies, frameworks, and tools, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the consulting practice.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, computer science, or engineering.
Around 10-15 years of relevant industry and consulting experience, with a strong focus on utilizing IT digital solutions to solve complex business problems.
Good understanding of forestry industry value chain processes from forest management, timber harvesting & transportation to the production of various products like lumber, engineered wood products, wood pellets, and other biomass products with deep expertise in paper mills production processes, technologies, workflows, and challenges.
Good understanding of KPIs impacting the performance of paper mills' production & operations and EHS metrics.
Well-versed with technologies used in the paper mill industry, digital opportunities & ground reality of digitization in the industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform data analysis and develop recommendations and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead client engagements and manage a team of consultants.
Ability to travel as needed to client locations.
