PLUS Communications is based in Arlington, Virginia. PLUS Communications leads award-winning campaigns integrating public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising and media buying. PLUS means more!

We are looking for a Part-Time Media Monitor to assist our client teams with media monitoring and communications assistance. The Media Monitor will be a motivated, self-starting individual who will work remotely on an hourly basis.

Candidates must be committed to working remotely at least 15 hours per week. Ideally candidates will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET. This is a paid position and you will receive an hourly wage for work.

Requirements

What we require:

• Less than 2 years of experience. This is an entry level role and perfect for someone looking for professional experience during their undergraduate or graduate programs.
• 0 - 1 years of demonstrated experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, including internships. Some college experience is ideal.
• Demonstrated experience in the basic understanding of the news cycle.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to working remotely Monday through Friday from around 9 AM to 12 PM ET.
• Candidates must be located in or near the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
