Swell is looking for an engaging, detail-oriented person to join our team. We seek tenacious individuals who tackle their responsibilities with excellence, and uplift and encourage those around them to do so as well.

The Finance team here at Swell is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to take on the following responsibilities part-time, with the potential to grow within the team to other responsibilities as needed:

• Own the customer contract billing process from subscription set up onward
• Inform clients on their outstanding debts and deadlines and work with our 3rd party collection team as needed
• Answer customer and internal billing-related questions and address problems
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts receivable
• Ongoing billing price change projects
• Part-time position initially anticipated to require 15-20 hours per week, hourly rate DOE

Requirements

The ideal applicant will meet the following Requirements:

• Effective communication skills, including active listening, speaking and writing
• Professional business communication skills, including emails and phones, financial reporting, and other department documentation
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Collaboration and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Comfortable with computers, accounting software, spreadsheet software and other financial computer application
• Experience with subscription or recurring billing preferred but not required
• Ideal candidates will have working knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Stripe, and/or Maxio (fka SaasOptics)
