Cornerstone Learning Community is seeking a Part-time Development Coordinator to join our team. As a private school in Tallahassee, we are dedicated to inspiring and empowering compassionate, global learners. As the Development Coordinator, you will contribute to our mission by spearheading the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to support our programs and initiatives. Responsibilities May Include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes annual appeals, major gifts, grants, sponsorships, and special events.
• Suggest and implement strategies for growth. Review goal progress, implement new processes where necessary, and provide feedback on how to refine and manage tasks.
• Coordinate Directors fundraising activities including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of the schools top donors.
• Create and execute alumni engagement strategy to promote involvement and eventual support of Cornerstone Learning Community.
• Coordinate fundraising events, including donor appreciation events, auctions, and other fundraising activities.
• Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and other community stakeholders, and ensure that they are kept informed of CLC's mission, values, and progress.
• Maintain a database of donors and prospects, and provide reports as needed.
• Collaborate with school leadership to ensure that fundraising efforts are aligned with CLC's overall mission and strategic goals.
• Serve as staff support to the Board of Trustees, Development Committee and other constituent groups such as the PTO.
• To collaborate with the Business Office on processing of all gift income for the purpose of providing receipts, the maintaining of giving records of donors to the school, and following up on pledges made.
• Think strategically and formulate new ways to educate the CLC community (parents, faculty/staff, alumni) about philanthropy at CLC.
• Participate in an annual evaluation of job performance.
• To perform other duties as assigned by the Director or their designee

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing successful fundraising campaigns and events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Cornerstone Learning Community.
