As our Partner Manager, you will actively drive and manage the partner and the technical aspects of selling AMPLY Power’s EV charging solutions to prospects and customers.





This is a full-time role based in Los Angeles, CA.



 



Responsibilities




  • Partner Manager

    • Relationship Building to Partner’s Sales, Marketing and Executive teams; nurture long term collaborative partnership

    • Annual Growth Plan for sales and marketing

    • Weekly sales team engagement, and quarterly joint executive reviews

    • Sales training to Partner teams



  • Technical Sales

    • Engage Partner team and Prospects in technical sales aspects of AMPLY Power solution and projects

    • Site Walks and ROM (rough order of magnitude) construction estimates

    • Electrical and EVSE system knowledge

    • Provide effective communication and status updates to all internal and external stakeholders



  • Business Development

    • Grow and develop new sales and Business Development opportunities

    • Manage relationship with LA Cleantech Incubator

    • Assist with product development efforts by gathering feedback and project specifications to advice the engineering team



  • Account Executive

    • Manage prospects for AMPLY (some may be existing customers of Partner)

    • Develop, Create, Present, Manage RFP and RFI responses for AMPLY solutions related to Partner or Territory





 



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience serving solar, energy storage, or EV charging commercial customers.

  • Must have solid understanding of utility, power systems/distribution, and commercial interconnection conditions.




  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Passionate about technical sales and working with customers.

  • Ability to work on multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • Highly coachable with a strong desire to improve and grow as a professional.



Available to travel as needed, approximately 3 days per week - not fixed, but expected to be 50% in Southern California (including networking events which may be evening), 30% Bay Area for headquarters and customer meetings, and 20% rest of North America as needed.
