We are looking for a full-time Partner Success/Business Development Manager to join our Marketing team. This person will be responsible for prospecting, building, and managing strategic partnerships with external insurance and travel related organizations to drive sales and revenue growth. We are looking for someone to take full ownership of our Partner solutions and work with cross-functional teams to drive desired outcomes. Remote candidates accepted. Must be located in a place that has 4-6 hours of overlap with the PST time zone. Candidates with authorization to work in the US preferred. No new H1B visas will be processed but a H1B transfer may be considered for the right candidate.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal skills and strong written and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify & reach out to potential partners - corporations, travel & tours industries, insurance agents/brokers & bloggers and influencers
  • Ability to think strategically and work independently without close supervision
  • HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and multitasking abilities
  • Experience in business development in a related insurance or travel industry (preferred)
  • Self-motivated go-getter and an effective team player
  • Must have both inbound and outbound sales experience

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential partner organizations that align with the company's target market and business objectives
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products or services, as well as industry trends and competitors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of the company's products or services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to develop tailored sales strategies and pitches for different industries and prospects
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business deals
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure and account management
  • Monitor and track sales performance, pipeline, and activities using CRM software
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted advisor to existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
  • Develop and monitor metrics and KPI for partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in partner management, sales, or business development roles
  • CRM experience in HubSpot, Salesforce, or other platform
  • Proven track record of building successful partnerships and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, sales cycles, and channel management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify partnership opportunities and develop effective strategies
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving successful partnership outcomes
  • Analytical skills to track and measure partnership performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and navigate complex business landscapes

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000/year + commission/incentive plan and is dependent on location and experience.
