As a Partnership Manager, you play a key role in a company that is transforming the way young children learn. Successful candidates will:

  • Source and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed annual territory quota
  • Identify decision makers in customer accounts and foster long-term relationships
  • Discern customers needs in order to propose appropriate solutions
  • Develop and maintain an exceptional knowledge of EarlyBird products and services; succinctly explain benefits, features, and technical aspects
  • Deliver compelling, professional presentations to customers at the district-level and building-level


Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing K-12 relationships and network to bring EarlyBird to new districts
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert those leads into new partnerships
  • Craft and execute outbound strategy in partnership with EarlyBirds instructional experts, and key opinion leaders in specific markets
  • Update CRM with account information, activity updates and pipeline projections
  • Travel of up to 50% at certain times of the year


Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years experience as a quota-carrying sales representative with new business responsibilities (preferably literacy SaaS and/or assessment); 3-4 years in K-12 curriculum or assessment sales required
  • Deep understanding of early literacy curriculum, instruction, and assessment as it pertains to the Science of Reading (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to connect and build trust with school and district decision-makers as well as building-level administrators
  • Ability to navigate complex early literacy conversations with enthusiasm, substance and nuance
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
