Responsibilities:
As the Patient Access / Medical Biller Supervisor at Finger Lakes Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing all Patient Access employees' duties and responsibilities. This role includes providing Meditech training for all ADM users, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and contributing to the achievement of department and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the Patient Access team, providing guidance and support.
Conduct Meditech training for all ADM users, including decentralized Access areas.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy of work performed by Patient Access staff through quality assurance duties.
Cover open/vacant shifts as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Demonstrate and model the values of the Healing Environment in all interactions.
Collaborate effectively with other hospital departments and external customers.
Contribute to the achievement of department and organizational goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are seeking candidates with previous management or supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting and growing our Patient Access Department. Previous experience with medical billing/coding is desirable, and we value individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Experience:
Prior medical office experience with a comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle and accounts receivable.
Knowledge of medical terminology, including CPT and ICD10 coding.
Previous experience with cash collections and balancing.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Consistent accuracy in typing/entering data.
