Patient Access Specialist

Shift :

Mon, Tues, and Thurs - 11am-7:30pm

Wed and Friday: 9am-5:30pm

Overview:

Working directly with the patients, you will identify patient demographics, schedule patients using the EPIC systems, perform medical necessity checks, work with the patient on any financial account related issues and complete the out of pocket estimates for the patient

 

Qualifications

• High School diploma required


• Customer Service experience required 


• Registration and healthcare experience required 


• The analytical skills necessary to resolve errors effectively and to identify opportunities for improvement.


• The organizational skills necessary to prioritize and complete multiple detail-oriented tasks simultaneously.


• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while exercising attention to detail and independent judgment within stated guidelines


• The verbal communication skills necessary to present information in a clear, concise manner.
