Description:

• ****The Patient Access Representative is part time**** -Duties include switchboard operations, patient scheduling (patient demographics, guarantor information, insurance verification, copay collections, obtaining patient document signatures, and scanning of documents).
• We also cover all of the same information when checking in patients for their appointments along with directing patients to the correct areas.
• Other duties include registration of urgent care/emergency room patients, obtaining signatures from inpatients, paging code alerts, intake and providing information to emergency services personnel, obtaining referrals/putting in orders and getting prior authorizations.
• The PAT members work in a variety of areas- clinic, hospital and specialty clinics.
• Requires: EPIC EMR system and customer service experience are required.
