Full-Time Patient Services Representative - Chinatown - Dental
Reports To: Dental Unit Manager

Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments requested by patients and/or dental providers and maintain long term appointments
- Contact patients to schedule 6 months recall appointment and treatment plans
- Responsible for collection of fees
- Answer questions and give information directly or on the telephone, within the limits of her knowledge and dental practice policies
- Register patients according to established office protocols
- Explain Dental Department policies to new patients
- Handle walk-in and emergency appointments
- Submit original encounter forms
- Update dental paperwork in patients’ medical records
- Verify patient’s insurance eligibility
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Customer service skills
- Must enjoy working with the public and be able to respect patient confidentiality at all times
- Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred.
