Full-Time Patient Services Representative - Chinatown - Dental



Reports To: Dental Unit Manager

Responsibilities:




  • Schedule appointments requested by patients and/or dental providers and maintain long term appointments

  • Contact patients to schedule 6 months recall appointment and treatment plans

  • Responsible for collection of fees

  • Answer questions and give information directly or on the telephone, within the limits of her knowledge and dental practice policies

  • Register patients according to established office protocols

  • Explain Dental Department policies to new patients

  • Handle walk-in and emergency appointments

  • Submit original encounter forms

  • Update dental paperwork in patients’ medical records

  • Verify patient’s insurance eligibility

  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • Customer service skills

  • Must enjoy working with the public and be able to respect patient confidentiality at all times

  • Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred.
