Summary Responsible for contacting new patients to set up medical devices, monitoring for patients initial readings, walking through device setup, and scheduling first contact with patients nurse. Responsibilities - Contact new patients to set up medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, scales, and pulse oximeters
- Assist patients with the setup of their medical devices
- Assist patients with any medical device troubleshooting issues
- Monitor for patients initial device readings to ensure that readings are transmitting to monitoring platform
- Input the new patients information into the monitoring platform
- Within 24 hours of the equipments arrival at the patients home:
- Contact the patient and schedule an appointment with the patients nurse
- Ensure patients medical devices are turned on and the first reading is completed
- Follow proper telephone etiquette and protocol when answering or making phone calls
- Follow-up on no-show new patients until patient has successfully communicated with their nurse
- If patients preferred language is anything other than English, coordinate appropriate communication to meet the needs of the patient

- Familiarity with EMRs
- Familiarity with soft phone lines
