The Systems Design Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Company(link removed) The more than 1,100 employees of provide requirements definition and design at the system, subsystem and component level every day in a collaborative environment which is characterized by respect for the individual, problem solving in a team setting, consensus oriented solutions, and results based recognition. Supporting this mission are teams providing domain expertise and creative solutions in surveillance, naval and missile defense based radar system design, sonar and undersea sensor system design, integrated air and missile defense systems engineering, command and control/battle management system design, combat system and platform architecture design and integration, operational analysis and simulation modeling research and development, software intensive system engineering, cyber solutions and algorithm development for signal processing, tracking and discrimination systems. Role Description:
The Patriot Radar Software Requirements Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of all design updates that impact Patriot Radar Software Requirements. Areas of responsibility will include:
- Provide technical leadership for the development of Patriot Radar software requirements
- Coordinate with the Radar IPT Systems Engineering Lead to ensure that the hardware, software, and system requirements are all being met in a consistent manner
- Develop concepts to extend Patriot system capabilities
- Review all radar-relevant software investigation requests (SIRs) for technical completeness and accuracy
- Drive system engineering process discipline and process improvements
- Review test procedures associated with Patriot Radar software requirements for technical completeness and accuracy
- Validate the interpretation of performance data associated with the sell-off of radar-relevant software requirements
- Support internal and external Program Reviews including Software and Systems Engineering In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and new business pursuits in the area of Radar Capabilities
Required skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in radar systems engineering
- Experience designing and implementing radar waveforms and signal processing algorithms
- Experience leading a systems engineering team
- Experience interfacing with external customers
- Experience across the product development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and senior leadership audiences
- Self-motivated, passionate leader
- Certification in Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to support work in both Tewksbury, MA, and Pelham, NH
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

- Six Sigma Specialist qualification
