Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Payment System Lead to oversee a payment processing systems. The Payment System Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all payment transactions are processed accurately, securely, and efficiently, and that payment systems meet all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation of payment systems, including payment processing, fraud detection and prevention, and reconciliation.
• Monitor payment processing systems to ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and securely.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve payment processing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to payment processing and make recommendations for changes to payment systems as needed.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and address payment processing issues and ensure that payment systems are integrated with other business systems as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party payment providers and other partners as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to payment processing, including PCI-DSS and other industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2-5 years' experience in the payments or e-commerce environment
• In-depth understanding of transactional risk and US-based payment processing
• Experience working with payment and merchant processors and gateways (Stripe, Braintree, Marqeta, Galileo etc.)

• 7+ years of experience in payment processing or related field.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing systems and technologies, including payment gateways, merchant accounts, and fraud prevention tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address complex payment processing issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payment processing, including PCI-DSS and other industry standards.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
