IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to join our team of dedicated technology experts. As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of payroll related tasks, including processing payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing payroll-related support to employees.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review payroll for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage semi-monthly timesheet submissions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll.
- Prepare and process various payroll reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of employees' paychecks.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Maintain payroll records for employees.
- Work collaboratively with Accounting Manager, CFO, and Human Resources to ensure accurate employee data.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with UKG UltiPro.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Unanet Timekeeping system
