Hope House is offering a Sign-On Bonus to qualified candidates hired as new employees to fill various part-time and full-time positions.

To be eligible for the Sign-On Bonus, the employee must not be considered a temporary employee. In addition, employees are eligible for the bonus one time only. Candidates will receive 50% of the bonus upon their second paycheck, and the remainder upon successfully completing their probationary period of employment with Hope House. The total amount of the Sign-On Bonus is as follows:

$750 (work an average of at least 40 hours per week)

$375 (work an average of between 20-39 hours per week)

$188 (work less than 20 hours per week)

Please note that all Sign-On Bonuses will be subject to lawful withholdings and deductions. Hope House reserves the right to discontinue the Sign-On Bonus at any time at its discretion.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.

Position Reports to: Finance Director

Job Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Compensation: up to $24.964

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of a bi-weekly payroll.
  • Work with cash receipts by recording them in Fund EZ on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for A/P & creating check runs
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing process, as well as year-end audit responsibility.
  • Monthly review and reconciliation of specific G/L.
  • Perform the necessary accounting for payroll and reconciliation of accounts related to payroll.
  • Assist with ensuring an accounts receivable collections process is in place and is being carried out.
  • Assist with financial analyses when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of Fund EZ accounting package, Accumed billing system and ADP payroll software.
  • Responsible for making deposits on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for the monthly PSH voucher process.




Requirements

Education: Minimum of Associates Degree in accounting.

Experience:

  • Minimum two year's experience in the payroll and accounting field required
  • Must excel with attention to detail
  • Non-profit and ADP Payroll a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
