Join Our Team as a Pediatrician In the Beautiful State of VT

Assignment Dates: 05/06/2024- 08/30/2024

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm (may be asked to cover an occasional Saturday morning) and on-call 2 nights per week

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient setting
• The ideal candidate has several years of experience and will be willing to participate in nursery rounds and delivery support.
• Mon- Fri 8 am- 5 pm (may be asked to cover an occasional Saturday morning)
• This position does include overnight call of approx 2 nights per week, with delivery attendance. Less than 300 deliveries per year. Occasional parent phone calls with RN telephone triage. Occasional ED consults, mainly by phone.
• For on call nights: Average number of phone calls per shift is maybe 1 or 2. A little more if it's a holiday weekend, but pretty minimal. Sometimes pager doesn't go off at all.
• Volume: 16-18 patients/ day
• Pediatrics
• Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation. Must be NRP Certified. No need for any other procedures.
•  General Outpatient Pediatrics, newborn nursery, delivery support. This is a traditional outpatient clinic

Types of Cases:

• Routine Pediatric cases

Requirements:

• Licensed in VT
• Certfied in BLS & PALS & NRP
