Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Developer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft HCM Developer who has experience with HCM V 9.2 PUM Image upgrades to join our team. As a PeopleSoft HCM Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing PeopleSoft HCM applications. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 development experience and at least one project experience in PeopleSoft PUM upgrade. The candidate should have the ability to retrofit custom code into new PUM objects, work independently, and utilize PTF test scripts for unit and system testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with functional analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and code.
• Retrofit custom code into new PeopleSoft PUM objects during system upgrades and enhancements.
• Work independently on development tasks, adhering to project timelines and delivering quality code.
• Perform unit and system testing using PTF test scripts to ensure the functionality and reliability of the developed solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and providing effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers, analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Maintain documentation of code changes, technical specifications, and configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PeopleSoft HCM development and related technologies.

Skills Needed:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 development experience.
• Minimum of one project experience in PeopleSoft PUM upgrade.
• Ability to retrofit custom code into new PUM objects during upgrades and enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules and components, such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Self-Service.
• Proficiency in PeopleTools, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.
• Experience with SQL and database concepts, preferably Oracle.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft development standards and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with PTF test script usage for unit and system testing is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
