Position: PeopleSoft QA Analyst
Fully Remote
8 months contract will extend
Client has an immediate need for an experienced PeopleSoft QA Analyst to join a project team responsible for re-developing a legacy asset management system within a custom PeopleTools environment. Please note: the ideal candidate for this engagement would be a hybrid analyst with both QA and PeopleTools development experience. QA would be their primary responsibility, with secondary development opportunities assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design and execute manual test cases for online and batch transactions
- Analyze user requirements to assist in the development of user stories
- Assist business stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Advise the project team on QA best practices
- Provide frequent status updates to the Project Manager and technical lead
Qualifications:
Strong functional testing skills, specifically relating to the planning, development, and execution of manual test cases
Strong defect reporting skills; able to write clear, concise, descriptive bug reports and verify bug fixes
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Ability to multitask and quickly switch between tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience testing Oracle PeopleSoft applications, including custom PeopleTools applications
Experience working with PeopleTools 8.5x desired
Experience working with MicroFocus ALM desired
Strong understanding of coding standards and best practices. Ability to adapt to National Fuel's development standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
