Job Summary

This is a fall internship, and the opportunity will begin in early-mid August 2023 and run thyrough the end of the year. The primary mission of the People Specialist Intern will be to support Spartans People team with various administrative tasks and daily activities. Activities include, but are not limited to: SOP Creation, employee onboarding, training, content creation, and assisting in the interview process. This opportunity will begin in early-mid August and will last through the end of the year. Requirements

Results:

  • Provide support for the People Team
  • 15 candidate touches per week
  • 2 New Hire check ins per week

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and schedule interviews for FreeUp Storage positions
  • Assist in onboarding new FreeUp & Corporate employees
  • Document standard operating procedures
  • Create content for training needs
  • Ad hoc projects and additional support as needed

Organization Able to handle a variety of tasks while still practicing good time management and communication to deliver assigned projects or important project milestones on time.

Attention to Detail Understand how small details have wider system impacts. Notices things others might not in a system, data entry, invoicing, contracts etc.

Communication Skills Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written and oral forms to people inside and outside of the organization.

Results/ Quality Orientation - Sets high but achievable standards for self and others. Seeks opportunities to improve process and outcomes. Constantly reviews performance to identify areas to develop.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from a 4-year university or college is preferred.
  • Communications/ Human Resources background preferred
  • Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is a requirement for all Spartan Employees within 30 days of starting employment.

Benefits

Compensation: $18 - $20/ Hr.

Location and Type: 20-30 Hours weekly depending on schedule and department needs. Must be able to work in Golden office 3 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays).
