Clover is a beloved Boston-area vegetarian restaurant chain and meal box delivery. In the years ahead, were looking to expand across New England (and eventually the United States) in order to transform the American food system. We source sustainably from local farms and artisanal makers in order to make the most delicious food possibleand fight climate change at the same time.

Clover is seeking an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to oversee and grow our online presence to drive sales. You will work closely with our operations teams and with agency partners, to drive cross-platform campaign development, execution, and iteration. You will combine creative leadership with a deep understanding of the Clover ethos to bring campaigns to life and introduce our food to new audiences.

The ideal candidate is an energetic individual with a passion for food and a desire to drive positive change.

This is a highly quantitative role: you should feel at home analyzing performance data beyond simple metrics in order to learn and iterate quickly. You will be identifying customer insights in the data, optimizing our approach, and constantly testing new ideas. You will be part of the marketing team and working hand-in-hand with our Chief Marketing Officer and Creative Director to create communication campaigns that drive awareness and sales. You will work across many tech and advertising platforms, from third party delivery services to social media to our app and point-of-sale system.

This is a full-time salaried position with a budgeted annual salary range up to $75,000. You will be reporting to the CMO. Were interested in local candidates only who can commute to the Boston/Cambridge area regularly.

RESPONSBILITES
The Performance Marketing Manager is required to:

  • Plan, create, implement, and optimize fully-integrated digital marketing campaigns grounded in consumer insights
  • Own digital marketing metrics and key performance indicators, and utilize data to refine existing campaigns on paid and owned platforms
  • Implement advanced segmentation strategy on owned channels (especially email) and track cohorts over time
  • Build hypothesis-based tests to effectively target consumers and guide creative work
  • Oversee customer relationship management to increase user engagement across key platforms
  • Design, execute, and test ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Google
  • Produce regular performance reports, analysis, and ideas for improvement


Requirements

The Performance Marketing Manager must have:

  • Bachelors degree from a top-ranked university (technical degree programs preferred)
  • 3-5 years work experience in digital and/or product marketing at an operating company, with proven ability to run successful campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Experience with startup and/or rapid growth environments; flexibility to adapt to changing situations/needs
  • Natural affinity for numbers, analytics, and technology
  • Experience with advertising on Google and Meta, as well as hypothesis-based testing methods
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Background or proven interest in food and restaurants
