Pharmacist Clinical Coordinator with a South Texas hospital.

Experience you'll need: PharmD with 6 years of direct patient clinical care experience in a hospital setting. Will consider residency trained with 2 years clinical exp. and antimicrobial stewardship certificate. TX licensed or able to obtain. Specialty training in Disease State Management, ACPE IV certification, Antimicrobial Stewardship certification and specialty training sponsored by the ASHP. BLS, ACLS

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, weekends as needed
You will guide the clinical applications of Pharmacy Services, ensuring that pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis.
As the coordinator, you'll facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of monitoring of safe, cost-effective drug therapies.
Asist in development of policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of clinical services to patients and customer staff
Reports to the Director of Pharmacy
