Summary / Role Purpose The Physical Security Analyst performs the day-to-day task in support of enterprise physical security activities and business resiliency. The analyst assists with the execution of the annual plans in support of the program. This role works in collaboration with key stakeholders across multiple functions and business units to plan and execute physical security activities and support business resiliency where available.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement program plans and management processes; maintain policies and procedures
Gather, organize, track, and summarize information about large and complex initiatives to inform decision-making
Identify and manage risks; drive issues to resolution
Review site threat and vulnerability assessments; identify gaps/risks, analyze results to determine risk profiles, and assist with the development of remediation plans
Assume administrator responsibilities for systems and tools supporting Physical Security, and Business Resiliency including monitoring systems and alerts; maintain currency
Assume a strong supporting role in response and recovery activities during business disruptions
Meet regularly with identified stakeholders and other senior leaders to provide status and solicit program feedback; connect with and build trusted partnerships with both management and technical resources
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
A bachelors degree in a criminal justice or Homeland Security related field or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of law enforcement/corporate security experience (or military equivalent)
Experience with analysis, risk management and threat/vulnerability assessment
An understanding of threat groups which may target ANSYS as well as strategies to effectively counter their operations
Demonstrated experience working and planning security operations
Experience leading programs or initiatives that include the development of new policies, standards, and procedures
Experience planning, organizing, implementing, and managing multiple concurrent priorities
Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of personal integrity and professional judgment
Accustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of work streams simultaneously and under deadline
Good understanding of current state of the discipline
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Physical Security Certification (PSC)
Certified in Homeland Security (CHS) (CHPA/P) Certifications
FEMA ICS Certificates (Basic/Advanced)
Experience with emergency notification platforms
