Full Time Physical Therapist Wanted for an Orthopedic Outpatient practice located in Maryland

We are looking for a committed full time Physical Therapist to act as the patients partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. You will be joining a team of two physical therapists and one PTA. We believe in delivery high quality of care for our patients. We mainly accept private medical insurance carriers for our patients. We have a state of the art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients goals and needs.
• Will be seeing 2-3 patients an hour.
• Must have orthopedic outpatient experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients motion and mobility.
• Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery.
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients specific needs.
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions.
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally.
• Promote clients healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Consult and practice with other health professionals.
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress.
• Document patient care services.

Requirements

Requirements:

• DPT Degree in Physical Therapy
• Maryland Physical Therapist License
• No board actions or disciplinary actions on license.
• Must have good manual therapy skills.
• Must be good at exercises.
• Must know how to use EMR Software such as WebPT.

Benefits

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
• Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 a year plus with full benefits.
