As a key member of the Trauma team, your responsibilities will include inpatient patient management in the ICU and trauma unit. You will play a crucial role in obtaining patient histories, performing exams, and assessing and revising plans of care. Additionally, you'll be involved in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures as needed. Prescribing appropriate treatment modalities, both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic, is a vital aspect of the role, along with patient and family education. Post-hospital outpatient visits will also be part of your responsibilities.
Working within a collaborative team of trauma surgeons and advanced practice providers, you'll experience a multidisciplinary approach to care. The opportunity includes 12-hour shifts with block scheduling and rotating call responsibilities, ensuring a well-balanced work-life dynamic.
