Part-Time Physician - Denver Area Outpatient Occupational Medicine Centers

**SALARY: $115,000 - $125,000/Hour for 2-3 days per week with some Saturday coverage**

MEDICINE FOR BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY (MBI)successfully operates outpatient acute injury care clinics in an Occupational Medicine setting. Services include Occupational injury care, NO chronic pain management! Our Fully integrated EMR system provides the Physician opportunity to focus on delivering a high quality of patient care with minimal administrative duties required. MBI currently has 19 locations in Colorado and Arizona with additional states and opportunities coming in the near future. Significant career growth opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Successful candidates come from various medical backgrounds including UC, FP, IM, ER, Sports Medicine, or Ortho.

**This will be a Denver area float position with some Saturday coverage**

Responsibilities

• Leadership that focuses on mentoring, training and developing providers, staff and associates within our clinical environment.
• Perform medical assessment of Center patients
• Establish and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients
• Maintain clinical core competency
• Work with Chief Medical Officer to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Medicine for Business and Industry
• Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice, judgment and quality of occupational health care
• Participate in and assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses and other personnel employed by or associated with Medicine for Business and Industry
• Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction, clinical/ case outcomes, and center performance

Work Hours

Clinic hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Hours are dependent on business needs. Work hours beyond clinic hours may be required to complete daily tasks and documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Board Certified/ Eligible
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates with experience in UC, FP, IM, ER, Sports Medicine, or Ortho
• Current state licensure
• Current DEA licensure
• M.D. or D.O. trained
• Experience/ability to suture
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidiscipline setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer Skills and Electronic Medical Records system experience.
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, dependability and integrity
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Spanish/English bilingual a plus
• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with the medical treatment guidelines from the State of Colorado Workers Compensation Division.
• Maintain Level II accreditation by the State of Colorado Workers Compensation Division
• Level II accreditation by the State of Colorado Workers Compensation Division or able to obtain as soon as possible via self-study or the Level I and Level II courses

Benefits

Starting pay range is $250,000 - 275,000/Year plus a generous incentive plan.
