Role Summary

The Physician & Provider Relations function will serve a critical role in a growing organization. This person will be responsible for building relationships with referring providers and their care teams to expand the Miami market Oncology Care Partners footprint. This person will also work closely with our oncologists and clinic teams in business development activities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and providers in our market and key strategic partners
  • Partner with physicians in practice building by introducing them to key referrers and the local community
  • Make frequent on-site visits to physician offices and hospitals to advocate for the Oncology Care Partners model
  • Effectively communicate the fundamentals of value-based oncology care and how it serves as a differentiator in patient care by OCP physicians
  • Plan, schedule, attend meetings and educational programs for OCP physicians to engage with community partners
  • Assist in marketing efforts around new physicians joining OCP, expansion of insurance coverage, and addition of new service offerings
  • Develop and maintain database of industry contacts in CRM system

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, management, healthcare, or related discipline is required
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare business development or outside sales, with specific experience in oncology preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Advanced knowledge of physician practice operations
  • Familiarity with and ability to communicate the fundamentals of value-based oncology care
  • Past experience working in a CRM platform
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • US work authorization
