ITAC, a leading engineering and construction services company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter Journeymen to join our dynamic team. As a Pipe Fitter Journeymen at ITAC, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining various types of piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain various types of piping systems, including HVAC, steam, water, and gas pipes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Select and prepare pipe fittings, such as valves, elbows, and flanges, for installation.
• Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
• Repair and replace defective or damaged pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure effective coordination and completion of projects.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized Pipe Fitter apprenticeship program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license.
