Supervise the manufacture of building products to the desired levels of quality and delivery standards with optimum efficiency. Initiate and implement procedures/processes to conserve material and eliminate waste. Authorize recruitment, hiring, assignment and termination of personnel in line with business demands and consistent with corporate policies and Governmental regulations. Evaluate subordinate personnel for management potential and coordinate developmental activities with the Human Resources Department to ensure progression. Ensure that plant facilities and equipment are engineered and maintained to minimize hazards and protect assets from loss, theft or damage through accident prevention, safety education, fire protection and physical security. Direct safety programs consistent with safe working conditions, insurance requirements, government regulations, and corporate policy. Prepare annual manufacturing/production/distribution forecasts and budgets. Complete and review daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of operating metrics. Monitor operating performance, with emphasis on profit and loss position, to facilitate early recognition of trends. Direct safety programs consistent with safe working conditions, insurance requirements, government regulations, and corporate policy. Requires up to 15% travel, including both domestic travel throughout the U.S. and international travel to Mexico.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8am-5pm/Monday-Friday
Job Location: Houston, TX
5 years of experience as Plant Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or any Manager occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Management experience in manufacturing environment; Analyze and present clear and concise reporting to deliver actions and expected outcomes; Manufacturing systems and techniques; Direct manufacturing support functions including materials management, scheduling, account services, shipping, and maintenance; Engineering processes, information technologies, and human resource functions to support manufacturing site; Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma; Planning and Scheduling software.
Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
