Job Description Job Title: Plant Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist in the development and formulation of short and long-range planning, processes, programs, and objectives.
- Lead, inspire, motivate, & mentor managers at manufacturing facilities to ensure quality, safety, and production in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas.
- Ensure orders are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards are met.
- Manage & support policy and deployment in the areas of employee involvement, cost reduction, safety, customer satisfaction.
- Owner and driver for all plant metrics and results.
- Identify, communicate, and drive implementation of capital investments and improvement projects.
- Manage compliance with state and federal agencies.
- Other activities as directed by VP -Operations.
- Oversee the following departments (operations, maintenance, scheduling, & warehouse) ensuring departmental efficiency and recommending efficiency gains and cost savings where appropriate.
- Develop and manage facility production goals and key performance indicators including but not limited to quality, yield, productivity, safety, and efficiency.
- Responsible for completing the job responsibilities of the Operations Manager, Quality Manager, Regulatory Specialist, and/or Supply Chain Manager in their absence and is on the HACCP and Management Team to support Food Safety.
- 10 years of manufacturing management experience required, 5 of which being in a leadership position with direct report managers.
- 5 years experience in a Managerial (or equivalent role) in some type of a LEAN environment. This can include 6-Sigma, LEAN, TPM, or related discipline.
- 5 years experience with significant responsibility for working with Quality Assurance, Accounting, Scheduling, and Human Resources.
- Continuous improvement attitude and drive.
- Manage operational expenses and budgets.
- Able to manage short, mid, and longer-term objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Education: BS/BA Required, MBA Preferred.
- Inspire, lead, motivate, and appreciate team members to work collectively & collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to company goals.
- Demonstrated personnel leadership with solid management skills. Ability to oversee and lead a large cross-functional team is a must.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English & Spanish communication or writing skills a plus.
